Follow The Tracks We Forgot to Finish

Follow The Tracks We Forgot To Finish is playing at Shelter Studios, Bridge Theater. The theater is located at 244 West 54th Street, 12th floor. The play runs from December 11-15 and 17-21 2013. It runs seventy five minutes with no intermission.

The show is about people who get stuck on a train that travels in a tunnel that’s not complete. They are stranded and are waiting to be rescued.

We have people making various comments although we can’t see them. There are three different people we see and then we don’t.

There is a man and women. It seems sex is there main interest. They do it on the train. Well we can see them but no one else can. No you don’t see anything but the next time we see them there are hints they have had sex.

Two male friends discuss their girlfriends and friendship.

The last people we see are two business partners. They are on their way to a presentation they have no idea what they are going to present.

The story goes back and forth between the three. Occasionally we hear the other people on the train but we never see them.

The characters are finding their inner self, some of them want to stay in the tunnel to learn more about their feelings.

The show has potential but not the way it is presented. It lacks character build up. What we find out about the characters is not enough to want us to care. A lot of questions are unanswered about the people we are seeing.

There is a bare stage, except for a bunch of chairs.

The music before the show begins was good.
