2012 Broadway in Bryant Park

Located at 42nd Street and 6th Avenue entrance. On Thursdays until August 16th from 12:30 to 1:30.

Now is the chance to see five on and off Broadway shows each week for free.

Rock of Ages, Nice Work If you Can Get It and Rent are among the shows coming up and are worth seeing. There are three shows that are Broadway bound that will be playing in the next three weeks, Chaplin, The Musical, Rebecca and Bring It On:The musical.

Two to three songs are played by cast members. Don't expect to always see the stars of the show. Sometimes it's a member of the ensemble who could be the understudy for that star. However they are still very good. Case in point Ghost The Musical did have the stars and Memphis did not. If you get there around 11:30 you can see the cast members rehearse.

If you are around 42nd Street or not its worth seeing and the price is right. But get there by 11:30 to get a seat. If you get there early you can be near the stage.
