Fully Committed

Fully Committed is playing at the Lyceum Theatre located at 149 West 45th Street. It runs one hour thirty minutes with no intermission. The play closes on July 31, 2016.


The comedy first opened at the Vineyard Theatre in 1999 and ran off Broadway for a year and a half at the Cherry Lane Theatre.


Jason is the director. He was nominated for a Tony Award in 2004 for Ave Q.


Derek McLane is the scenic designer. He won a Tony Award in 2009 for 33 Variations. Derek was nominated for three Tony Awards for Anything Goes (2011), Ragtime (2010) and Pajama Game (2006).


Sarah Laux is the costume designer. She has done a number of outstanding shows such as An Act Of God, The Humans, The last Ship and If/Then.


Jesse Tyler Ferguson play’s Mitchell Pritchett in the ABC sitcom Modern Family. He has been nominated for five Primetime Emmy Awards for this show. He has been nominated for two Drama Desk Awards for Fully Committed (2016) and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2005).


Sam (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is an actor waiting for his break in theatre. In the meantime he is working in a prestigious restaurant that everyone wants to eat at. Meals cost at least $250. Sam is in the basement room taking reservations for a colleague who is stuck in traffic.


The comedy revolves around what happens from making reservations and Sam’s dealing with the chefs and other employees.


This is a witty, cleverly done comedy that will make you laugh. Jesse does all the roles

Jesse Tyler Ferguson does an exceptional job.
