AJ (Jeremy Kushner) is a film director making a film.
The film he is making now, the lead actress gets involved with someone. That is a no no for AJ. He fires her.
His secretary Gina (Sarah Meahl) and the choreographer for the film, Robbie (Bret Shuford) tell him about a singer they have seen performing at a speakeasy. They are sure he will love her. Indigo (Ruby Lewis) is hired on the spot. The piano player Joey Green (Ryan Vona) is hired to write a song for the movie.
The rest of the musical revolves around the making of the movie and the main characters: AJ, Indigo and Joey.
This is an impressive show. It’s not your typical Broadway show. The acrobatic acts are amazing, however at times they are distracting. You don’t know what to watch. There are two large screens on either side of the stage. They are distracting and don’t add to the show.
The visual effects are breath taking and so is the scenic design
Ruby Lewis does a great job.
The ensemble does an awesome job.
Despite some of the negative things the show is worth seeing.
