The play had its debut on December 18, 2017.

Clint Ramos is the scenic designer. He won a Tony Award for Eclipsed (2016) and was nominated for a Tony Award for Once on This Island (2017) both for costumes

The time is June 1, 2015, Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York.

It’s dark and we hear moans and groans. Someone is having sex. Octavia (Paige Gilbert) walks into the living room with a smile on her face. She is followed by Ry (Carol Pena). Octavia goes to the bathroom and screams there is a black spot in her private parts. She wants Ry to look at it. She refuses so Octavia kicks her out of the apartment. They are making a movie together. She’s is the writer.

In walks her roommate Imani (Alfie Fuller). She helps herself to some scotch and gives Octavia a glass with some scotch. The last roommate June Antoinette Crowe-Legacy) comes into the room. She is upset. June was at her boyfriend’s house and found a used condom in a fast food box. She’s thru with him.

They decide go to a club that night.

There at Prince Street. Some guy is hassling a woman. She tries to come to her aid when the guy punches her in the face. When they get there Ry is on the coach talking to “That Bitch on the Coach” (Marie Botha). Octavia is upset when she see her with the women that she leaves.

Imani sits on the coach with the bitch. When she leaves to go to the comedy club to do her act the bitch follows her. At the club her minds goes blank on her routine.

Back at the club Octivia is determined to have sex because she is afraid the surgery to remove the black spot would affect her sex life. She has sex in the bath room. Well she thought she was.

Back home June has a man follow her home. The made out at the club. Justin (Chris Myers) says to her you told me you love me. She sets him to sleep on the coach.

I won’t tell you what happens but we learn a little more about the three women. But by then who cares.

At times the language was vulgar, what was the purpose? To say women can be like some men. They also drink scotch and smoke pot.

The cast was outstanding. Chris plays three different roles. He was awesome.

The scenic design done by Clint Ramos was amazing. That was worth seeing.

Some people were laughing but I didn’t think it was funny. I asked the guy next to me what he though and he said it was different.
